Maryu Sugita (5th generation of Seikanjigama), Kyo-yaki ceramic artist created a tea bowl and small plates inspired by a 19th-century evening dress, one of the pieces featured in this exhibition. These are gorgeous works, meticulously hand-colored with traditional Japanese techniques.
