KCIチーフ・キュレーター深井晃子は、メキシコ・シティで開催される連続ファッション・セミナーに参加します。
このセミナーは、ソウマヤ美術館（メキシコ・シティ）主催の「Fashion and Modernity」展の関連事業です。
深井は、メトロポリタン美術館、パリ市立衣装美術館（パレ・ガリエラ）といった世界の代表的なファッション美術館のキュレーターたちと共に、本セミナーにて講演します。
タイトルは、「19世紀から20世紀におけるジャポニスムと、現代日本ファッションとの関係」。
今回、ただ一人の日本人キュレーターとして、日本ファッションについて語ります。

The Seminar Fashion & Modernity to be celebrated in Mexico in the month of October is the most important academic activity of the exhibition of the same name that Museo Soumaya will open on October 23th.
Akiko Fukai, KCI's chief curator is going to join this seminar, and give a lecture about Japanese Fashion.
