世界を巡回した「Future Beauty」展。この秋、ギャラリー・オブ・モダン・アート（GOMA）（ブリスベン、オーストラリア）にて開催されます。
GOMAは2006年に開館した現代美術館。博物館や図書館、パフォーミング・アーツ・センターなど、州立の文化施設群であるクイーンズランド・カルチュラル・センターの一角に立地し、隣接するクイーンズランド州立美術館に所属しています。
ロンドンのバービカン・アート・ギャラリー（2010年）を皮切りに世界を巡回し、「日本ファッション」の革新性をあらためて提示した本展は、7都市目となるブリスベンが最終巡回地となります。

Future Beauty tours to Brisbane
Queensland Art Gallery |Gallery of Modern Art presents "Future Beauty" featuring nearly 100 garments by Japanese designers including Rei Kawakubo, and Yohji Yamamoto as well as younger designers influenced by popular culture and the dynamic street life of Tokyo.
This exhibition highlights the tremendous innovation of Japanese fashion designers from the early 1980s to present who revolutionized the way we think of fashion today.
"Future Beauty" exhibition originally conceived by the Kyoto Costume Institute and Barbican Art Gallery, London in 2010. Brisbane is the7th and last venue.
