「熊谷登喜夫」展の映像記録を公開しました／Visual record of the exhibition “Tokio Kumagaï”

1980年代、ユーモアと想像力にあふれたデザインの靴を次々と発表したデザイナー、熊谷登喜夫［1947-87］。KCIギャラリーにて開催した「収蔵品紹介33 熊谷登喜夫：軽やかに時を超えた靴デザイナー」展（2022年1月31日―6月24日）は、『朝日新聞』（5月26日夕刊）や『日本経済新聞』（6月5日朝刊）に大きく掲載されるなど、注目を集めました。
本展は終了しましたが、展覧会の映像記録（約7分）を公開する運びとなりました。あわせてKCIが収蔵する「トキオ・クマガイ」作品の中から、遊び心溢れるデザインの3点を3Dモデル化。靴底まで360度の映像をお楽しみください。

Animals, automobiles, and famous artworks – inspirations of Tokio Kumagaï (1947-87) for his shoe design in 1980s are wide-ranging, filled with humor as well as imagination.
“Tokio Kumagaï: Shoe Designer with a Timeless and Playful Style” (KCI Gallery, 31 January – 24 June, 2022) showed around 40 pieces which represented the designer’s creativity.
This video (approx. 7 minutes) preserves a visual record of the exhibition.
In addition, the KCI released 3D models of three Tokio Kumagaï shoes on Sketchfab. This visualization shows the three-dimensional views of the shoes.
