1982年より刊行してきたKCIの研究誌『Dresstudy』をリニューアルし、誌名も新たに『Fashion Talks ...』となりました。

今日、服飾研究はファッションという事象全体へとその視野を広げ、これまでの歴史的解釈から抜け落ちたり、見過ごされていたものを議論の俎上に乗せる試みが増えています。
本誌ではそうした流れをしっかりと見つめ、さらなる発展に寄与していきたいと考えています。

リニューアル第一弾の特集は「下着」。
衣服の基礎であり、最初に袖を通すことになる下着は、着ることの意味を考え直すきっかけにふさわしい領域として取り上げました。

今後とも、『Fashion Talks ...』をよろしくお願いします。

After over 30 years of publication of our journal Dresstudy, it is renewed and renamed Fashion Talks... The first issue features the underwear, clothes we put on first and next to the skin.
