京都服飾文化研究財団（KCI）が三菱一号館美術館と共同で開催する
『アール・デコとモード 京都服飾文化研究財団(KCI)コレクションを中心に』展が、ついに開幕しました。

本展では、当財団が所蔵する1920年代を中心とした衣装や資料に加え、同時代の工芸品・絵画などを通して、アール・デコ期の華やかなモードを紹介します。
KCIコレクションからは約200点を出展。さらに他館所蔵の作品も合わせ、総出展数は約300点にのぼる大規模な展覧会となっています。



なかには初公開となる貴重な衣装も展示しております。

The exhibition “Art Deco and Fashion: Centering on The Kyoto Costume Institute Collection”, jointly organized by the Kyoto Costume Institute (KCI) and the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, has finally opened to the public.

This exhibition introduces the dazzling fashions of the Art Deco period through garments and materials from the 1920s held by KCI, alongside decorative arts, paintings, and other works from the same era.
Approximately 200 pieces from the KCI Collection are on display, and when combined with loans from other institutions, the exhibition features a total of around 300 works, making it a large-scale presentation.

Among them are rare garments being shown to the public for the first time.
