このたび、弊財団理事長 塚本 能交（つかもと・よしかた　株式会社ワコールホールディングス 名誉会長） が、日本の産業振興に対する長年の功労により、2025年秋の叙勲において「旭日重光章」を受章いたしましたので、お知らせいたします。

「旭日重光章」は、国家または公共に対し特に顕著な功績のあった者に授与されるもので、塚本のこれまでの活動が高く評価されたことによる受章です。

今回の受章は、京都商工会議所会頭としての地域経済への貢献をはじめ、多年にわたる産業界での積極的な取り組みを通じ、日本の産業発展に大きく貢献してきたことが評価されたものとなります。

We are honored to announce that Yoshikata Tsukamoto, Chairman of the Kyoto Costume Institute and Honorary Chairman of Wacoal Holdings Corp., has been awarded the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star by the Government of Japan in the Autumn 2025 Conferment of Decorations. This prestigious honor recognizes his exceptional leadership and long-standing contributions to the advancement of Japanese industry.

The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star is one of Japan’s highest distinctions, presented to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the nation or to society. Mr. Tsukamoto’s achievements and lifelong dedication to industrial development have earned him this distinguished recognition.

Throughout his career, Mr. Tsukamoto has demonstrated visionary leadership in Japan’s business community. As Chairman of the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry, he has played a pivotal role in strengthening the regional economy and fostering sustainable industrial growth across Japan.
