The hanging grape cluster decorations match the flowing dress lines. During the Art Nouveau period, motifs of organic natural objects were favored and often used as clothing ornaments.
In 1891, Jeanne Paquin (1869–1936), who opened her fashion house in Paris, she quickly opened a branch at London (1896), and served as president of the fashion section for the Paris International Exposition in 1900. Her fashion house had a lingerie section and a large-scale fur section as well.
